Mission Trip Application
The sign-up for the mission trip application will open in October (exact date TBD) and close in November (exact date TBD) and will be on a first come first serve basis. The signup will be opened for main organization members 1 day earlier. The selection of individuals for the trip will be announced exactly 7 months prior to departure (December, exact date TBD). There will be a $20 fee to submit an application for the mission trip (for both students and medical professionals).

Each mission group is limited to no more than 50 people, which brings the doctor - student ratio requirement to 12 medical professionals : 36 students. [*Additional volunteers will need to arrange for their own living accommodations].

*Selection for students is also based on participation in all of the following training sessions:
1st Training: Introduction to Belize
Includes the type of individuals we will see, and common medical/dental issues​
2nd and 3rd Trainings: Medical Education Presentations​
Each student will research a medical education topic to present to the group​
4th Training: Intake+Vital Signs and Pharmacy​
Learn how to take patient information/history and vital signs, read doctor shorthand, and dispense medications under supervision​
(*if you cannot make a session, you will be sent an online training session and must pass a supplemental assessment)
